Booking Conditions

The company is Juletabi Safaris Ltd. which is a Kenyan registered company. Juletabi is based in Kenya and our aim is to create a profitable company which directly affects the lives of our Kenyan employees. In order to protect them we have found it necessary to produce this contract to ensure their economic security and livelihoods.

The contract is made when either full payment or a non refundable deposit of £150.00 or equivalent is made, accompanied by a completed booking form and Juletabi has issued a confirmation invoice.

The contract is made between the company, Juletabi and those listed on the booking form.

The company reserves the right to decline any booking at its discretion.

The company reserves the right to cancel any booking at any time at the company's sole discretion in the event that the company considers the client unsuitable for the tour booked.

Payments

A tour booked more than 60 days before the date of departure is subject to a £150.00 non refundable deposit that must be paid to hold confirmed arrangements. The balance of the tour must be paid 60 days before the date of travel, otherwise the company will treat the booking as cancelled by the client and the normal cancellation fees will apply.

A tour booked less than 60 days before departure is subject to the amount of the tour price being paid in full.

There will be a discretionary charge made for transfers. This will vary depending on the size of vehicle required and the duration of the transfer. Clients will be advised of this charge at the time of booking.

The client acknowledges that payment for the tour/transfer in an intrinsic part of the tour income and contributes to the overall costs of equipment, vehicle running, and administration costs before actual date of departure.

Cancellation charges

If you wish to cancel your trip you must notify the company in writing by the same person on the booking form. Cancellations will come into effect on the same day as they are received by the company. The following charges will be levied.

Days prior to departure
Percentage of tour/transfer price payable
60 days deposit forfeited
40-60 days prior 35%
39-25days prior 50%
25-14days prior 75%
Less than 14 days 100%

Once the tour has started no refunds will be made.

Juletabi reserves the right to cancel a tour/transfer for any reason more than 60 days before departure.

If in rare circumstances the tour is cancelled within four weeks of departure, for reasons other than Force Majeure, Juletabi wherever possible will do its best to offer an alternative arrangement.

Force Majeure is any situation or event beyond the company's control such as war, terrorist activities, natural or industrial disasters, fire, adverse weather or road conditions.

Juletabi reserves the rights to alter routes, schedules, itineraries, amenities and modes of transport without prior notice during the period of the tour, due to circumstance or events which affect the stated intentions of the tour/transfer.

Prices

Juletabi reserves the right to vary prices at any time before the contract has been made and in the event that it does, advice will be given at the time of booking.
